I remember scoring a few stacks of those canvas specimen in old western wear stores at the time, and also sporting a pair.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eFor this project, we wanted domestic fabric and went out to source some nice and dry 12 Oz. cotton “Frontier” duck yardage, milled by\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.mvmills.com\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eMt Vernon Mills\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ein Georgia, USA.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eWe opted for two color options. A rusty brown similar to our Lee® brown duck jeans source of inspiration – also typical of classic Carhartt workwear – and a deep dark navy blue.\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eFor those considering a farmhand tuxedo, p\u003c\/span\u003elease note that\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003ethe CALIFORNIAN rusty brown “Frontier” duck fabric is of a different dye lot from the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/concordia-eco.mom\/products\/ranch-blouse-nos-duck\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s2\"\u003e“Frontier” Ranch Blouse\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e NOS Duck.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p3\"\u003eThis canvas duck fabric is woven on wide looms, resulting in unfinished edges, i.e. non selvedge.
